How many sticks are in a TEREA carton? 200 — and what each one actually costs

A TEREA carton is 10 packs and 200 sticks. Here's the real cost per stick across all seven editions, and how long 200 lasts at 5, 10 or 15 a day.
The short answer: 10 packs, 20 sticks each, 200 in the box
One TEREA carton holds 10 packs. Each pack holds 20 sticks. That's 200 sticks per carton, and the figure doesn't change between editions — Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Japan, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan all ship in the same 10 × 20 format, because that's the unit Philip Morris packs them in at the factory. What arrives at your door is that factory unit: shrink-wrapped, sealed, with the authentication code intact on every pack inside. Nobody has opened it, counted packs out of it, or resealed anything. If you're coming from cigarettes the arithmetic maps across cleanly, since a cigarette carton is also 200. So whatever a carton of reds used to last you, a TEREA carton lasts roughly the same, and usually a little longer — a heated stick ends on its own after a fixed session instead of burning down in your hand while you take a call, which quietly cuts the number of sticks you get through in a day. Everything below is built on that one number. Two hundred is what you divide by.
Cost per stick, all seven editions
Carton price divided by 200 is the number worth comparing, because the flag on the box changes the price far more than it changes what you're holding. TEREA Indonesia and TEREA Tajikistan are both AED 119 a carton, which works out at 59.5 fils a stick, or AED 11.90 a pack. TEREA Kyrgyzstan and TEREA Uzbekistan are AED 125, so 62.5 fils a stick and AED 12.50 a pack. The TEREA Kazakhstan carton, the one most people in the UAE mean when they just say TEREA, is AED 129 — 64.5 fils a stick, AED 12.90 a pack. TEREA Italy, the European edition, is AED 169, which is 84.5 fils a stick and AED 16.90 a pack. TEREA Japan sits at the top at AED 199: 99.5 fils a stick, AED 19.90 a pack, a hair under one dirham per stick. Line up the two ends and the gap is 40 fils a stick, or AED 80 across a full carton. That's the entire premium you're paying for the Japanese lineup, and it's a real choice rather than a rounding error — Japan carries seventeen variants including Rich Regular, Black Menthol and the Pearl range, and some of those simply don't exist in the Central Asian editions. How long 200 sticks last you
Take your daily habit and divide. At five sticks a day, a carton runs 40 days — nearly six weeks, which is why light users often order one carton and forget about it until the next season. At ten a day you get 20 days, so a carton is a solid three weeks minus a day, and two cartons cover a comfortable month and a bit. Fifteen a day brings it down to just over thirteen days, meaning you're reordering roughly twice a month. A full pack a day — twenty sticks — empties the carton in exactly ten days, and at that rate you'd want three cartons on the shelf to stop thinking about it for a month. Most people find their heated-tobacco count lands below their old cigarette count, because a stick is a deliberate session you sit down for rather than something you light out of boredom. Worth knowing before you order: if you were a pack-a-day smoker, don't assume you need three cartons out of the gate. Buy for twenty days, see where your real number settles, then size the next order properly.
The monthly bill, worked out
Thirty days at ten sticks a day is 300 sticks, which is one and a half cartons. On the Indonesia or Tajikistan carton that's AED 178.50 a month. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan come to AED 187.50. Kazakhstan lands at AED 193.50. Italy is AED 253.50, and Japan is AED 298.50. Drop to five a day and the same list halves and then some: AED 89.25 for Indonesia, AED 96.75 for Kazakhstan, AED 149.25 for Japan. Push up to fifteen a day and you're at AED 267.75, AED 290.25 and AED 447.75 respectively. The interesting line is the gap. At ten a day, choosing Japan over Indonesia costs you AED 120 more every month — about AED 1,440 over a year. That's not an argument against the Japanese carton, which people buy for the flavours they can't get elsewhere. It's an argument for knowing what the choice actually costs before it becomes a habit you don't re-examine. A common pattern here is one cheaper everyday carton for the daily rotation plus one premium carton for evenings, which keeps the monthly figure closer to the bottom of that range than the top.
Why we sell cartons, not single packs
We sell sticks by the full carton only. Devices are the single exception — the ILUMA i One, ILUMA i Standard and ILUMA i Prime are all sold one at a time, since nobody needs ten of those. There are three reasons the sticks work this way, and none of them are complicated. The carton is the sealed factory unit, so selling it whole is the only way you can inspect the shrink-wrap yourself and check the authentication codes before you pay anyone anything; the moment a shop starts splitting cartons, that check disappears and you're trusting a stranger's word instead of a factory seal. Second, the price per stick stays honest at carton volume — the numbers in the section above are the numbers, with no single-pack markup layered on top. Third, the delivery maths simply doesn't work for one pack: sending a rider from our side of the city to Al Nahda or Business Bay for an AED 12 pack costs more than the pack. So the shape of the shop is one full carton minimum on sticks, one device minimum on hardware, and no minimum order value beyond that.
Two cartons, three cartons, and the AED 350 line
Delivery is a flat AED 30 anywhere in the UAE and free once your order subtotal reaches AED 350. Subtotal means the goods, before the fee, so you can do this in your head at the checkout. Two Indonesia or Tajikistan cartons come to AED 238 — short. Two Kyrgyzstan or Uzbekistan cartons are AED 250, also short. Two Kazakhstan cartons make AED 258, still short by AED 92. Two Italy cartons reach AED 338 and miss the line by twelve dirhams, which is the most annoying near-miss in the shop, since nothing costs twelve dirhams and paying the AED 30 is genuinely cheaper than buying a third carton you didn't want. Two Japan cartons hit AED 398 and ship free. One Italy plus one Japan is AED 368, free as well. Three cartons of anything clears it — even the cheapest three come to AED 357. Devices tip the order over quickly: the ILUMA i Standard at AED 289 plus any carton is past the line without effort, and the ILUMA i Prime at AED 399 clears it on its own. Watch the ILUMA i One, though. At AED 179 with an Italy carton you land on AED 348, two dirhams under, which is worth catching before you confirm.
What delivery and payment do to the per-stick number
The 59.5 fils figure assumes free delivery. Add the AED 30 to a single Indonesia carton and you're paying AED 149 for 200 sticks, which is 74.5 fils each — the fee alone adds 15 fils per stick when you buy one carton at a time. Buy three of the same carton and the total is AED 357, delivery drops off, and you're back to 59.5 fils. That's the actual value in the third carton: it costs AED 119 but saves you AED 30, so the real marginal cost of 200 more sticks is AED 89. One Japan carton plus the fee is AED 229, or AED 1.145 a stick; two Japan cartons are AED 398 delivered free, back down to 99.5 fils. Payment method moves it slightly too. You can pay cash on delivery, card on delivery with 5% VAT added, or by bank transfer — nothing is charged online, so there's no card form and no deposit at any point. Three Kazakhstan cartons on card come to AED 406.35 all in, which is 67.7 fils a stick against 64.5 in cash. Small, but it's there, and now you know where it comes from.
Before you commit to 200 of one flavour
Two checks first. TEREA works only with IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices, which heat the stick from the inside using SMARTCORE induction. It will not work in a blade device — if what's in your pocket is an IQOS 3 DUO, that takes HEETS, and a TEREA stick in it does nothing for you.
