What is TEREA and why does the country version matter?

TEREA sticks are PMI's heated-tobacco sticks made exclusively for IQOS ILUMA. Here's why Kazakh, Indonesian and Japanese cartons taste different.
SmartCore, not a blade
TEREA sticks are fully enclosed with a metal SmartCore inside, heated by induction. Unlike HEETS there is no blade, no cleaning and no tobacco residue left in the device.
Why versions differ
PMI produces TEREA for many markets, which is why UAE buyers choose between Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Japan, Italy (EU), Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Every version is genuine; they differ in flavour lineup, blend tuning and price.
Compatibility
TEREA works only with the IQOS ILUMA series using SmartCore induction heating. It does not work with older blade-type IQOS devices that use HEETS.
