IQOS ILUMA i Prime Electric Purple

The Electric Purple finish

On the Prime, Electric Purple is a textured finish rather than a gloss, noticeable without being the loudest option on the shelf. It sits between Garnet Red and the quieter colours.

It is the special-edition colour, which is why it is priced above the core Prime finishes. The heating, screen and battery are the same as every other Prime.

Who the ILUMA i Prime in Electric Purple suits

Two kinds of buyer pick this one: someone moving from a blade IQOS to the bladeless Prime who wants a finish that is not black or silver, and someone who already loves Electric Purple and wants it on the top model. The i One in Electric Purple is the same colour for less.

Comparing models? The IQOS ILUMA i Prime page covers the model in depth, and IQOS ILUMA i One from AED 140 and IQOS ILUMA i Standard from AED 235 are the alternatives. Every colour of every model is on the IQOS ILUMA i devices page.

IQOS ILUMA i Prime Electric Purple — specifications

Using the ILUMA i Prime

The Prime runs exactly like the ILUMA i Standard: charge the pocket charger, slide a TEREA stick into the holder and heating starts on its own. The touchscreen tracks the session, Pause Mode holds it if you are interrupted, and FlexPuff stretches it when your draws are short.

What is different is the outside. The aluminium body is heavier and cooler in the hand than polymer, and the fabric-wrapped door hides fingerprints. Wipe the fabric with a dry cloth along the weave, keep alcohol wipes away from it, and keep the device out of the pocket with your keys.

TEREA sticks for the ILUMA i Prime

The ILUMA i Prime takes TEREA sticks only — every market edition, from AED 109 a carton of 200. Regular smokers usually start with TEREA Amber or TEREA Silver; menthol smokers with TEREA Turquoise or TEREA Purple Wave. The full list is on the TEREA flavours page. Device and sticks arrive in one delivery for one AED 30 charge, free above AED 350.
