IQOS ILUMA i One Electric Purple

The Electric Purple finish

Electric Purple is a matte, saturated purple, not the softer Digital Violet. It is the colour of the ILUMA i special edition, which is why it costs more than the core i One finishes even though the hardware inside is identical.

The matte surface does not show fingerprints the way a gloss finish would, and the colour is distinctive enough that the device never gets mixed up with anyone else's on a table.

Who the ILUMA i One in Electric Purple suits

Pick the Electric Purple i One if you want the special-edition colour at the lowest price it comes in. If you want the same purple with a touchscreen, Pause Mode and an aluminium body, the ILUMA i Prime comes in Electric Purple too.

Comparing models? The IQOS ILUMA i One page covers the model in depth, and IQOS ILUMA i Standard from AED 235 and IQOS ILUMA i Prime from AED 330 are the alternatives. Every colour of every model is on the IQOS ILUMA i devices page.

IQOS ILUMA i One Electric Purple — specifications

Using the ILUMA i One

Charge it fully before the first session. Then slide a TEREA stick in until the printed line meets the rim: the device starts heating on its own, vibrates when it is ready after about 20 seconds, and the session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first.

Pull the stick straight out when it is done. It comes out clean, with no ash and nothing left in the chamber, because the heat comes from a metal core inside the stick, not from a blade in the device. There is no cleaning routine.

TEREA sticks for the ILUMA i One

The ILUMA i One takes TEREA sticks only — every market edition, from AED 109 a carton of 200. Regular smokers usually start with TEREA Amber or TEREA Silver; menthol smokers with TEREA Turquoise or TEREA Purple Wave. The full list is on the TEREA flavours page. Device and sticks arrive in one delivery for one AED 30 charge, free above AED 350.
