TEREA Purple Wave Italy

TEREA Purple Wave Italy at a glance

TEREA Purple Wave Italy is a fruit-menthol heated-tobacco stick made by Philip Morris for the Italy market and sold in Dubai by TEREA Dubai Shop at AED 198 per full carton — 10 packs of 20 sticks, 200 sticks in total. Its taste profile is medium in strength with cold, and the tasting notes are blackcurrant, menthol, capsule-style burst. It is designed for IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices, which heat the stick by SMARTCORE induction with no blade and no cleaning, and it is not compatible with older blade devices such as IQOS 3 DUO. Delivery is within 1 to 3 hours in Dubai and Sharjah, and same day before 1pm (otherwise the next day) in the rest of the UAE, with a flat AED 30 courier charge that is waived above AED 350. Pay cash on delivery, by card on delivery (+5% VAT) or by bank transfer, and you check the factory seal and authentication code before paying the driver.

How TEREA Purple Wave Italy tastes, in plain words

• Fruit-menthol
• Medium
• Cold
• Blackcurrant
• Menthol
• Capsule-style burst

Purple Wave delivers a blackcurrant-berry wave over cool menthol, with the fruit peaking early and settling into a steady cool for the rest of the stick. It is the Central-Asian answer to a crush-ball menthol.

If you are ordering for a group, this is the safe fruity choice.

Why the Italy version of Purple Wave?

TEREA Italy is the Italian-market edition of TEREA, made for IQOS ILUMA devices. The range includes tobacco picks such as Amber, Silver and Sienna, and menthol-leaning picks such as Purple Wave and Sun Pearl Menthol. Each carton holds 10 packs (200 sticks).

Every TEREA Purple Wave Italy carton we hand over is factory-sealed with its authentication code intact, exactly as it left the Philip Morris line for the Italy market. That matters because the same flavour name is blended slightly differently per market — so if you have settled on the Italy reading of Purple Wave, buying it again from us gets you the identical stick, not a substitute from another region.

TEREA Purple Wave Italy price — carton and delivery

• Full carton (10 packs / 200 sticks) — AED 198
• Courier charge — flat AED 30, free above AED 350
• Payment — cash on delivery, card on delivery (+5% VAT) or bank transfer

Buying a carton instead of loose packs is always the cheaper route, and one carton on its own is enough to order — there is no minimum. Add a second flavour or a device and the order usually clears AED 350, which removes the courier charge entirely.

Which device heats Purple Wave sticks?

TEREA Purple Wave Italy works with every IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i model — the ILUMA i One, the ILUMA i Standard and the ILUMA i Prime. It is not compatible with blade-heater devices such as IQOS 3 DUO, which need HEETS instead.

Purple Wave: the Italy carton versus the same name elsewhere

Purple Wave turns up in six of the markets we stock, which makes it one of the few flavours you can genuinely price-compare. The Kazakh carton is AED 113, the Indonesian one AED 109, and the Italy edition is AED 173. Same name, same blackcurrant-over-menthol idea, same cooling 4 and the same strength 3 — so the fair question is what those extra forty dirhams are actually buying you.

Blend tuning, mostly. European production runs slightly drier across the board, and on Purple Wave that shows up as a berry note with less sugar behind it and a menthol that feels rounder than sharp. The capsule-style burst still peaks early and settles into a steady cool for the rest of the stick. People who taste both back to back usually call the difference real but small — worth paying for if you already prefer EU packs, not worth it on price alone.

What stays identical

The count doesn't change. Every market ships 10 packs and 200 sticks per carton, sold by the full carton only, and every version is genuine Philip Morris production. So the delta is blend tuning and packaging origin, not quantity or nicotine strength, and anyone telling you the European sticks hit harder is guessing rather than tasting.

Who should pay the premium

If you're already ordering the Italy carton, adding Purple Wave to that box makes obvious sense. If Purple Wave is the only thing you want, the cheaper markets carry it too: the Kazakh and Uzbek cartons are AED 113. If you want a brighter fruit than blackcurrant, the Sun Pearl carton is citrus and tropical rather than dark berry.

There's a second reason people choose the European carton, and it has nothing to do with taste. If you're already placing one order for this edition, keeping every flavour in a single box means one delivery, one payment and one subtotal working toward the free-delivery line, instead of two part-orders that each pay the flat AED 30. Three Italy cartons come to AED 519, which clears that threshold with room to spare. Buyers in Al Nahda and Al Nuaimiya who split a box with a neighbour do it for exactly that reason.

Compatibility is the same everywhere too. TEREA runs only on IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i, the induction models, and no TEREA stick from any market will heat in an IQOS 3 DUO — that's a blade device built for HEETS. It's a rule about the technology inside the stick, not about the country that produced it.

Ordering works the same way whichever carton you settle on: flat AED 30 delivery, free once the subtotal passes AED 350, within 1 to 3 hours in Dubai and Sharjah to Dubai and Sharjah, and same day before 1pm, otherwise the next day to Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Cash, card at the door with 5% VAT, or bank transfer — nothing is charged online. Compare everything on the flavour index. 18+ only, contains nicotine.
