IQOS ILUMA i One Midnight Black

The Midnight Black finish

Midnight Black is the understated finish of the i One range. It does not catch the eye on a meeting table, it does not show the small marks a light colour picks up in a bag, and it looks the same after a year of daily use as it did out of the box.

It is also the finish people choose when the device is a replacement rather than a statement: one object to charge and carry, no holder to lose, and a colour nobody comments on.

Who the ILUMA i One in Midnight Black suits

Pick the Midnight Black i One if you want the cheapest correct way into TEREA in a colour that blends in. If you want a touchscreen and Pause Mode, the ILUMA i Standard in Midnight Black is the same colour with those features added.

Comparing models? The IQOS ILUMA i One page covers the model in depth, and IQOS ILUMA i Standard from AED 235 and IQOS ILUMA i Prime from AED 330 are the alternatives. Every colour of every model is on the IQOS ILUMA i devices page.

IQOS ILUMA i One Midnight Black — specifications

Using the ILUMA i One

Charge it fully before the first session. Then slide a TEREA stick in until the printed line meets the rim: the device starts heating on its own, vibrates when it is ready after about 20 seconds, and the session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first.

Pull the stick straight out when it is done. It comes out clean, with no ash and nothing left in the chamber, because the heat comes from a metal core inside the stick, not from a blade in the device. There is no cleaning routine.

TEREA sticks for the ILUMA i One

The ILUMA i One takes TEREA sticks only — every market edition, from AED 109 a carton of 200. Regular smokers usually start with TEREA Amber or TEREA Silver; menthol smokers with TEREA Turquoise or TEREA Purple Wave. The full list is on the TEREA flavours page. Device and sticks arrive in one delivery for one AED 30 charge, free above AED 350.
