IQOS ILUMA i One Vivid Terracotta

The Vivid Terracotta finish

Vivid Terracotta is a warm burnt orange, the colour of fired clay rather than a traffic cone. It is the finish you will never lose in a bag or mix up with anyone else's device, which is exactly why some people choose it and others avoid it.

Underneath the colour it is the same i One as every other finish: insert a stick, the device starts heating by itself, and an LED readout shows where you are in the session.

Who the ILUMA i One in Vivid Terracotta suits

Terracotta suits a first-time IQOS buyer who wants something cheerful and simple. It is not the pick for a device that should stay low-key on a desk; for that, Midnight Black or Breeze Blue is the quieter choice.

Comparing models? The IQOS ILUMA i One page covers the model in depth, and IQOS ILUMA i Standard from AED 235 and IQOS ILUMA i Prime from AED 330 are the alternatives. Every colour of every model is on the IQOS ILUMA i devices page.

IQOS ILUMA i One Vivid Terracotta — specifications

Using the ILUMA i One

Charge it fully before the first session. Then slide a TEREA stick in until the printed line meets the rim: the device starts heating on its own, vibrates when it is ready after about 20 seconds, and the session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first.

Pull the stick straight out when it is done. It comes out clean, with no ash and nothing left in the chamber, because the heat comes from a metal core inside the stick, not from a blade in the device. There is no cleaning routine.

TEREA sticks for the ILUMA i One

The ILUMA i One takes TEREA sticks only — every market edition, from AED 109 a carton of 200. Regular smokers usually start with TEREA Amber or TEREA Silver; menthol smokers with TEREA Turquoise or TEREA Purple Wave. The full list is on the TEREA flavours page. Device and sticks arrive in one delivery for one AED 30 charge, free above AED 350.
